What are a few physics projects I can do? I'm a AP Physics C student, and for the end of the year we are doing a final project of your own choice. I can't find a good project to do online, have any ideas. I'm interested in Aerospace, so things that deal with flying would be best!
Suggestions on high school level physics projects? For my advanced phyics class we have to do a experiment project that relates to physics. We have to make up the experiment ourself and preform it. I was thining of doing something related to sound, but I'm not sure what. Anyone have some good suggestions? Thanks
What are some good physics project ideas? I have about three weeks to work on a physics project for a final grade in the class. Within the project we have to measure something and also calculate something. We can build something cool if that helps as well. Please give me some ideas! What are the best projects to do for 1st year physics?
suggestions for Physics Projects? Hello this Prateek Chauhan I am ding my 12 std in Bangalore. I have to do my Physics Projects I dont know what to do? suggest me some Physics Projects Soon

High School Physics projects? I was looking for a cool physics project for high schoolers, I was thinking of showing the properties of electricity or magnitism? Any ideas on a project that could hold their attention while still trying to teach them something?
Math and Physics projects? Do you guys know any projects that combines math and physics that I could try? I have to be able to illustrate or demonstrate it, then do the math... I have to explain why that happened using math or use math to predict an outcome. Use laws and formulas and stuff. I don't have any equipment except common household items... So if I have to build something please leave instructions or a website that has that kind of information. I'm really begging for answers here, so please don't leave answers telling me to look it up on google. Google isn't that helpful if I don't know specifically what to look for. Oh, and I only have like a day to prepare it and solve it so this project has to be easy and must be explained with no loose ends... So, please help! Thanks in advance to the really helpful peeps that will answer this...
What physics project can I incorporate on different types of strings, and the sound quality of it? I am to do a physics project, and I chose it to be on music. I have a device to measure frequencies of the sound waves and an instrument at which I can hook a string to, and change its tension, thus causing a different sound change. My physics project is to have a set of pre-lab questions, post-lab questions; and atleast one set up of durable, functional, and beautifully constructed equpment (using new equipment in a new way is acceptable as well) I know the topic at which I would want to base my experiment on, but I do not know what to create of it. Or if any other ideas involving music and strings, please let me know. I am still undecided upon what I want my project to be and what to build.
Possible physics projects? For this quater's project we are suppose to reseach the physics involved in different real life applications. Some examples he gave us was "the physics of Baseball/ Football", "The physics of music", and "Electronic Display History". I was hoping you guys/gals could help me think of some innovative ideas for the porject THANKS!
What everyday physical phenomenon can I use for a physics project? I have a physics project where I have to take a picture of some sort of physical phenomenon and write an essay describing the physics captured in the picture. It can either be natural (everyday situation that is spontaneous) or contrived (something set up to show particular physics concept that is non-spontaneous). I am stumped and I don't know what type of phenomenon I can take a picture of that would be good. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
What is the best physics project for me to make? HI. I'm in year 9 and I was wondering if any of you guys would teach me a cool physics project. My teacher says everyone must have one but I don't know what to do because i've been home-schooling for about 3 years and i'm lost in chemistry and physics so could you help me?
What should i do for a physics project? I need an idea fora high school physics project and it is due december 12th! I am interested in forces and motion and would like to do a project that relates to it. There were no restrictions given on what we could choose for a project but I can not think of anything good enough to do. If you have any suggestions please let me know. We already did a project just like that in class so i don't think I could do it again.

I need help on specific things such as what materials to use, and how I should go about building it in general. I'm not looking for anything perfect- something that I can do in a less than two weeks would work. Website references would really help. -Thanks
Need an idea for a College level physics project? I need some ideas for a college level physics project. We're allowed to do a project on anything in physics, like building a contraption or demonstrating the effects of some aspect of physics, but after researching ideas this morning, nothing seems good enough. They all seem like elementary to high school level. Does anyone have any suggestions for a physics project?
Ideas for a physics project relating to horseback riding? For school this year I'm required to do a physics project. I'm interested in studying the physics of horse back riding (I have horses to "experiment" on), but I'm unable to come up with a good question that I can actually experiment with and study. Does anyone have any ideas?
What would be a good idea for a physics project? What would be a good idea for a physics project? I'm in grade 11 and I need help finding a topic to do research on or build something involving physics. I know I'm being a little vague but this is all i have to explain what i need. Any phenomenon that could be explained using physics, not bridges, because that's an overused topic. Things like weight of a ball, velocity, speed when kicked. That sort of stuff. Thank you for all your help
What should i do for my Physics Project? I have to do a physics project & i really need to get a topic for it. Basically, we can make anything we want & that includes redoing any good existing physics project or an experiment. So i was just looking for any good ideas that i can use from u guys. By the way, we did not get any kind of info sheet so its just that we can make anything in the field of physics that we want for high school level. I really need help and it would be appreciated. Thanks
Help with a Physics project topic that compares to biology/ Psychology? My major is Biology and Psychology and I need to find a topic for my Physics project. I am not really sure what I should write about. I want to get into surgery. May someone please help me find a topic. Example: Instead of choosing a generic topic (such as "Resonance"), make it relevant to your major or a personal life-long interest (such as "Medical Diagnostics based on Resonance Phenomena"). Also, I am writing a paper.
Can you help me in this physics project, security in cars? I have a physics project, and, the subject is the security in cars. Their themes are safetybelt, airbag, the state of wheels(I don“t understand what she means with that) and the design of the car. It wanted to know if they could help me with the subsubjects, in special the one of the state of wheeld and the design of the car. If you can give me sites to visit or anything will be useful. Thanks
I need a good physics project to present to my physics class. Got any ideas? Alright, so I have to present something that demonstrates what I learned this year in physics...and I really want to make an impression on the teacher and the fellow students. So I want to present something that is both scientific and interesting at the same time. I have to do it something we went over this year so it has to do with fluids, oscillations, waves/sound, heat and matter, heat energy, thermodynamics, electric forces, electric energy, circuits, or magnetism. Thanks ahead of time.
Does anyone have any ideas for a physics project? I have to investigate something and write a report on it for the second year of my A-level physics course. Other people in the class are doing things like: why hasn't the leaning tower of Pisa fallen and possibilibites for interstellar travel. The only thing i can think of is to do something on the space shuttle but I can't really think of an actual question which will provide me with enough scope to write a 4000 word essay. Please could somebody help me out.
how do i make a model car for a physics project? for my physics class, we are required to make a model car that will go in a straight line, and will keep on moving from start (a fan will blow it forward to give it a start) to finish, and i need some tips, or advice. Anyone have any suggestions?
What type of detail can you help me with, for the physics of superman? I'm doing a physics project on the physics behind superman being able to "leap tall buildings in a single bound." That's what I'm focusing on, at least. I need to find out the force, energy, velocity or what ever to figure what amount he needs to leap the building. I'm not quite sure what formula's to use and how to figure anything out. But any help would be great. The project can be about anything but i just decided to choose superman. Thanks!
Simple way to show the physics of a ferris wheel? We are doing a physics project on the ferris wheel. We have all of the needed calculations, but we need some kind of a visual for our presentation tomorrow. We were hoping for something that could be made out of household items and is very simple to make and understand.
What kind of physics can I find out with billiards? I have a physics project to do, and my friend wants to do something with billiards aka "pool". Just wondering what kind of physics is involved with pool...considering all aspects of the game (such as english, banks, power, felt, etc). I would really appreciate it!
I need ideas for a physics project in school? I'm thinking about building some sort of amusement park ride, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Can anyone please give me some ideas! I want something fairly simple but something that will get me a good grade.
What should I do for my physics project? it can be anything that demonstrates the properties of physics... but it should be something that i can build, and then use equations and such to study the physics properties. anything BUT a mag-lev train, i already did that
What is your volume and density? Physics Project Archimedes Principle? I am taking a college level physics class and we were giving a project and I am very lost, could someone please help me? Best answer will be chosen! Stats: I'm 35 years old, this is my first physics class and it just seems very confusing. The project is: What is your volume and density? Using principles such as archimedes, or pascals, (etc) whatever applies. You must calculate your volume and denisty or a kids. Volume in cubic meters. MAY NOT TAKE MEASUREMENTS OF YOUR BODY. Must use principles learned. Once you have calculated your volume, then calculate density in kilograms per cubic meter. Next, explain procedure used to come up with volume and density and principles used-state it. Then compare your denisty to density of water for fresh and saltwater and discuss the physical ramifications of your results (think about swimming/and does your answer make sense. Thanks!!!!!!
What would be a great project on Physics? We have been thinking of projects on Physics, but it seems most of our ideas are taken. These includes the rides at an amusement park, usage of the law of reflection, and electricity. Can you name a project on Physics that is unique, great, advanced and not expensive for a high school student?
In need of a physics project? I need a simple physics project that can be done within 3-4 days. I think I want it about simple machines/ improvising things or anything just about PHYSICS. Kindly direct me to some sites of those kind of projects too. thank you very much!
How to explain my Physics project? I've built a Physics project, where a vertical circle moves around its axis (Y-axis), and there's a small ring on the circle. When I start rotating the circle (using an eletric motor), at a certain velocity, the ring starts to ascend, and as the speed increases the ring ascends higher and higher, until it reaches the middle (height of half a circle, of one radius). From this speed on the ring stays at its height until I slow the circle down and the rings descends to its starting position. How can I explain this phenomena to my classmates? (I'm in 11th grade)
