I have a TI-89 calculator and I'm wondering how I can program several physics formulas into it. Help? Unfortunately, I do not have the cord available to me, so simply downloading a program over the internet will not work. I'm looking for a possible menu choice that will allow me to type in these formulas manually so that I can easily use them. Also, if someone could tell me how to plug in the values for certain parts of the formula (after I get them programmed in) I would be grateful. It's not cheating if we were given permission to use these formulas on a project, thanks.
A easy way to remember physics formulas? Hey, Does anyone know a easy way to remember physics forumlae? They are basic IGCSE formulas. E.g 1. Distance "divided" by speed x time 2. Change In speed "Divided" by accelaration x time 3. Force "Divided" by mass x accelaration. etc. Thank you very much! Fair call. Im talking about triangles. How do I rearrange physics formulas? NOTE: I'm looking for a solution that works for almost all physics problems (not just the following example). For example, in the heat equation Q = m*Cp*(T2-T1), how would I rearrange it to figure out the (T2-T1) part?

(FinalVelocity)^2 = (InitialVelocity)^2 + 2(acceleration)(distance) that's the first one................................................................................ Distance = (Initial Velocity) + 0.5(acceleration)(time)^2 That's the 2nd one........................................................................... (FinalVelocity) = (InitialVelocity) + (acceleration)(time) and that's the 3rd... my teacher said they were correct, but when i plugged in values they didn't seem to work.. maybe im wrong so please if you can tell me if these are valid or not?

What mean d on physics formulas? I am studying physics by my own, I have a lot of books. And i spotted that many college schoolbooks has formulas like this: (dp)/(dt)=(d(mv))/(dt) If that d is on bot sides of dividing why is it not taken out? I think it is something with math. If the mass is 1500kg the friction coefficient between road and tyres is 0.35 and taking its acceleration due t gravity as 10m/s/s. Help with these question: 1) The angular acceleration of the wheels to attain cruising speed. 2)The forward velocity of the veichle when up to cruising speed. 3) The distance travelled to attain this speed. 4) The total load required to be produced by the engine. 5) The power developed by the engine in getting up to speed. For example: V = d/t Should the student worry about the meaning of this formula ? Like V = d/t because velocity is the distance traveled in every time unit. So we divide the distance traveled by the time so that we know the distance traveled within every single time unit. Should they learn how the formula was put together before they proceed to other topics ?

Is there a mathematical symbol or formula for this physics-related concept? I hope I can express this concept. . . Is there a symbol or a mathematical symbol or formula that means the speed and the place something occupies is the same? I don't mean zero movement, but where something is going so fast that it is in all places at once? Is there a point where a distance becomes so small that velocity and place are one without relation to the particle size? The concept I think has been addressed in quantum physics, but I was just wondering if there is a mathematical symbol or formula to describe it. Thank you.
