What is "raw material" in science (used in plants)???

  1. Used in production plants? Raw material is something that you take and form it into a final product. Take a chuck of steel (raw material) and mold it into a hammer (final product). Take a pile of wood (raw material), then cut it and glue it into a set of shelves (final product).
