How to save or download a movie from the CD?

I have a Cd on space and universe but the problem is that it is not mine.I will have to give it back.Before that,I would like to save it in my PC. I don't want to write the CD, I just want to save it.Please tell me the steps clearly.Thank You. I tried to save it by clicking the right mouse button but that option was not there.I even tried to open File menu, but couldn't get that option.

1. when u run the cd on whatever player u use u should have an option to save it as well as burn it
2. just find file with extension .dat and copy and save it-this is movie file, all other files are special CD files
