because if satan or man created homosexuality, then aren't we as powerful as god? And if not, why would he create something only to condemn them?

Homosexuality is a result of sin and NOT part of God's plan. And it's against what He created.
God created a choice.
God gave us free choice. The other side of these sins is that in the long run the people that do them are not happy. Long term homosexual relationships don't happen very often. The suicide rate in homosexuals is high. They are happy in the moment, but in the end they aren't. It just doesn't work well and God didn't mean for us to do it. I have seen this so many times that folks say Christians are judging them. They aren't, God is judging the person and the Christian is only passing on the info. You speed, you get a ticket. Jump off the cliff and when you hit the bottom. Nobody is judging, they are just saying what will happen in the end.. Hit yourself on the hand and it will hurt.. ooo I am sorry I am judging you I will keep quiet and then you will find out.. That is not God's way, he wants everyone advised and with sufficient time that they can decide.

You are making an awful lot of logical fallacies here. Yes, God created everything material in the universe. God has the power to create or destroy whatever He wishes to create or destroy. Man can not do this. . . he is limited in what he can create or destroy (and by the laws of physics, no one can really create or destroy anything, but merely convert it into something else). Homosexuality is the same as lying, cheating, stealing and the rest of those things that have been called "Sin" by the Bible. God did not create sin. Sin is merely actions that God said "Don't do" that man has done. To say that man is like God because he created homosexuality, does not place man and God on the same level Man can choose to do as he wishes. . . this is his only similarity with God when it comes to the amount of power he has over his life. Man has the power to create evil. God has the power to create good. Apart from God there is no good, therefore, apart from decisions made with God's law and His guiding hand, man can do no good thing. That's why you have various flaws in humanity (homosexuality is just one of many).

Wow i really disagree with judging people, especially claiming something is a sin or not. but overall, from my study of religion, God gave humans the power to distinguish between right and wrong and i guess what is wrong is happenning and God is letting it happen and the judgement will eventually follow where it will be seen if it is actually a sin or not.

This is a great question. God created EVERYTHING, right? He has dominion and control over EVERYTHING in the universe, right? So why is there sin? God obviously didn't CREATE sin. He ALLOWS it, but he didn't create it. So who did? Satan? Man? Either way, one of them, either the devil or man, has the same creative power as God then. If God didn't create homosexuality, and man did, then that makes man as powerful as God. But personally, I think God did create homosexuality - otherwise you wouldn't see it documented in EVERY species of animal on the planet. And before you disagree, do some friggin research - all species have homosexuals. It's not a choice, it's biology. And GOD created biology.
If I created a hammer, would it be my fault if you smashed your finger with it? God created the universe and everything in it, including the potential for evil. You might be born with predispositions toward certain kinds of behavior, but you still make choices to engage in those behaviors. God doesn't force you. Just like everyone else in the world, you have to face the consequences of your choices. If you don't like the consequences, then make different choices. Homosexuality is a choice against life and for death and decay. It takes far greater power to create life than it does to destroy it. Only the worst bullies actually think that by destroying something they can become as powerful as the builder.

Homosexuality is a life choice, not the way you were born. It is not compatible with the Christian lifestyle. Then again fornication is a choice not compatible with lifestyle of Christians. It would only be acceptable if they maintained celibacy as a lifestyle. In that way, they would overcome the sin the same as an unmarried heterosexual is by celibacy.
Homosexuality is only alluded to in the Bible, and then only on two occasions, once in the old test. and once in the new. If it is a sin, it is a lesser sin than lying, which is condemned dozens of times.

We're not robots! The bible tells us how to live & its up to us wheater we obey or not. To be gay is a self destructing life style. They can't reproduce. It is condemned because its very bad for us. God created us to live not to die! If we choose to obey God then our loyalty to Him is plain.
Everyone has been born with a "sin nature" since the fall of man in the garden of Eden. That's our fault, not God's. For instance people often get so angry with another person that they feel like killing the other person. That's a sinful impulse that they can either choose to give in to or resist. Gay people are NOT condemned to hell. God loves them the same as He loves everyone else. Not only that but when a person confesses Jesus as their Savior and asks to receive the Holy Spirit they become a new creation and are no longer under the dominion of sinful impulses. That doesn't mean that they no longer suffer temptation. God hates the sin of homosexuality. He Loves the homosexual. He also hates heterosexual sin. I am grateful I can say I am still a virgin and near 50. Stop laughing... I have a very full life. I fear for those who are promiscuous now days. In the 1980's I heard of a hemopheliac who got Aids from a blood transfusion, then passed it on to his wife and two children. Only one child is now living. How sad. Many lies are being told to the young generations. I resent that. Be strong young people and "Keep your pants on...until married. That question is really a dividing one. If you are gay then the answer sucks. If you age gay and believe in God then the answer sucks. If you are gay and christ following you have only one choice. Be solibit. God Greated ev erything. and of the same clay he created some for honor and some for dishonor. Some were elected to salvation. Bible blish blash. If God created everything in the universe, and Man is created in the image of God, so does that imply that God is Straight, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Black, White, Yellow and so on and so forth? So whatever gender we all are, just love God for this life.
Perhaps there isn't any such thing as 'homosexuality' and everybody is born 'bisexual' as anyone can be attracted to a person of the same sex. Some people will restrain their lusts and perversions, and others won't. You'll find that gay men are also attracted female body builder types, and lesbian women are also attracted to effinate men. None are 100% gay or straight.
It's a persons sin that they are condemned by. ALL have the chance to accept Jesus as their saviour and repent and turn away from their sins. When one repents, God doesn't remember the sin anymore, and we are to do better in life. When a person gets into the true Word of God and learn of God and His love, one naturally out of love for God want to please Him. It was because of lucifers attempted overthrow in the first age and because he drew with him 1/3 of Gods stars/souls that God loved His souls so much, He, God made man flesh. This 2nd age of flesh is a short time compared to His total plan. God made man flesh in order to give us choice to choose good from evil and give all a chance for salvation so when one dies in this flesh and their soul returns to The Father who gave it, it was their decision if they await judgment in Paradise or hell.
This is just one of the many examples of how the way many people interpret the Bible just doesn't make any sense. God is all-knowing & all-powerful but nevertheless he can't get rid of Satan, who is always causing Bad Stuff to happen but God supposedly lets everyone have a Free Choice about everything so that if they're too stupid or misguided or Satan gets to them, they can screw themselves up completely & then God can smack them for it till the end of time. It's like God says, "I COULD make a beautiful world where everybody acted properly & no one ever felt pain or caused pain to others, but I'm just not going to do that because I want to give you all the opportunity to make really big mistakes which you will then suffer for eternally". The only way to make sense out of this is to decide that it doesn't have to make sense, it's just The Way God Is, so asking logical questions about this kind of thing will only get you a bunch of nonsensical answers.
Your friends who answered are so right! It begins with free will which is an amazing gift from the creator. As for the "gay people are condemned in the bible". What is really condemned is the act of homosexuality not the person. You are right...God loves his creation! But he created male and female to love each other, to procreate and fill the world with children which are expressions of their love, the love that mirrors the love of God when he created man. Unfortunately, homosexual acts do not mirror this love and cannot produce children. The act falls outside of God's plan and is considered a sin against God. The person is always loved and there is always hope they will turn away from their sin and return to God just like the prodigal son....then there will be such feasting and celebrating!!! Until the moment of death this hope survives.

Jehovah God created the first human pair perfect.And as with all his intelligent creation,he gave them the gift of free will.He created man and woman and told them to be fruitful and multiply.Jehovah God did not "create" homosexuality. James 1:14,15 tells us-"Each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire.Then the desire,when it has become fertile,gives birth to sin,in turn,sin,when it has been accomplished brings forth death." We cannot blame God for our sin if we have let our heart dwell on sinful desire.If we do not dismiss a wrong desire,"it becomes fertile",is nurtured in the heart,and gives birth to sin. God's view on immorality has always been the same.However, it is this world we live in that has become permissive toward its attitude about fornication,adultery,and homosexuality. Jehovah God has always condemned improper behaviour.But if we are truly repentent,He is there to forgive us and give us the strength to withstand the wrongful desires if and when they resurface.All we need do,is take it up with Him in prayer. Let me just add that it is not the people that are condemned.It is the immoral acts they perform that God finds detestable.
