What's a unique astronomy topic to write a report on?

I'm in Astronomy second semester. I need to write a report and do a presentation by the end of the semester but I can't use other students topics. The report MUST be about something that has nothing to do with planets. Since planets is what we studied last semester. This semester is about stars and space in general. Please give me a very specific topic that would interest my classmates. also.... someone already has the topic on blackholes.....

2. quasars, quantum entanglement, the Planck epoch, the Drake equation, galaxyzoo, entropy
3. dark energy or dark matter are good ones. pulsars, active galactic nuclei, nebulae, solar wind, interstellar medium, supernovae, comets, asteroids.
4. the possible connection wormholes have with time travel. and anything related to dark matter or energy
5. +buildup of heavy elements in the universe(how the elements above iron were formed)..this is a common topic with abundant material. +position of sun(topics like analysis of planetary transits, sun rise, sun set, position on poles, duration of days and nights, predicting When Sunrise Or Sunset Are In A Certain Direction ... , the Range of the Sun, formula for terminator) +pulsars +orbital mechanics-- orbit around various non symmetrical, non spherical objects, +futuristic launch vehicles. +Einstein's Theory of Relativity versus Classical Mechanics: eg Advance of the perihelion of mercury, space time curve, quasars etc.etc.
6. How about gamma-ray bursts? The brightest one ever was just detected.
7. to quote the simpsons, the effect of miscrogravity on tiny screws.
8. Mark you could write about how improvments in technology increases our understanding of the ever increasing size of the universe from simple telescopes, to Hubble to radiotelescopes. or maybe how stars are created especially in the Orion Nebula...
9. Correlate sunspot cycles with historical events.
10. Anti-matter is fascinating, although it doesn't directly relate to astronomy, it does have it's place in may astronomical theories.
