When do you use certain formulas on the physics regents?

how do you know? what formullas are for what problems?

1. You use the formulas which are required to solve the problem(s). Sometimes they even require that you do a certain amount of <gasp> algebraic manipulation of the formula. Knowing which formula(s) to use to solve for which 'unknown(s)' given certain other 'known(s)' in a problem means that you have 'learned' the subject. You actually have to be able to think to pass some of those exams. (Totally unfair of them, isn't it?) Doug
