When do you use certain formulas on the physics regents?
how do you know? what formullas are for what problems?

- You use the formulas which are required to solve the problem(s). Sometimes they even require that you do a certain amount of <gasp> algebraic manipulation of the formula. Knowing which formula(s) to use to solve for which 'unknown(s)' given certain other 'known(s)' in a problem means that you have 'learned' the subject. You actually have to be able to think to pass some of those exams. (Totally unfair of them, isn't it?) Doug
