Are people actually expecting things to come into being as they assumed?

"The big question is -- how in the heck did this thing form, because it doesn't follow our standard models of how these things form," astronomer Scott Ransom of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Charlottesville, Virginia, said in a telephone interview on Thursday. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080515/sc_nm/pulsar_dc ^--Isnt this one of the instances that prooves that scientists are not all-knowing? mark m: How will it come back to me if I throw it to the universe? 1. no not really
  2. if you mean the universe -we do create what we think.
  3. I think that true scientists realize that they are NOT all-knowing. This only proves what they already think. Most scientists deal in hypothesis and conjecture, with the hope that they (or someone else) will be able to prove their hypothesis or conjecture.
